Types of Good Fats
There are two types of good fats called monounsaturated fat and polyunsaturated fat.

Polyunsaturated fat on the other hand, has more than one double bonded carbon in the molecule. It is liquid either in room temperature or when chilled. Plant based foods and oils contain polyunsaturated fats. Omega3 fatty acid is a type of polyunsaturated fats found in fishes such as mackerel, tuna, herring, anchovies and sardines.
Both of these good fats play an important role in keeping the body strong and healthy. Vitamins A, D, E and K are fat soluble vitamins. This means that these vitamins actually NEED essential fats to be able to be absorbed and stored in the body.
